6 Scented Shower Products That Make It Hard to Want to Get Dressed

Bath lovers can't have ALL the fragrant fun.

I know some of my fellow xoVainers are #TeamBath all the way, but I am 100% here for showers. The only thing that makes me sometimes feel like I would rather take a bath is the plethora of scented bath products available to make bath time all the more enjoyable.

Fear not, shower-lovers! There are, indeed, some mighty fine scented shower products for us as well. (Fair warning: this list is half Lush stuff because I just can’t help myself.)

Lush Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar

This bar smells so good, I have to fight the urge not to shampoo my hair every day. I got this for my recent vacation so as to not use up precious space for my carry-on liquids, but it’s also been great for my gym bag. I’ve never used a shampoo bar before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was surprised to find that I got a good amount of cleansing in with just a couple of swipes of the bar on my scalp.

This bar is listed as having a honey-toffee scent, but I think it smells more like honey and clean laundry. This may seem like a weird combo, but trust me, it’s divine.

Lush Jungle Solid Conditioner

This conditioner somehow smells both fruity and a little earthy. When I first smelled it, I wasn’t completely sold, but the more I’ve used it, the more I’ve loved the scent.

I didn’t feel like this was as rich as I like in a conditioner, but its light texture actually has made for an excellent co-wash. I also noticed that the scent with this really lingers; I could smell it on my hair all day (even after applying other scented styling products).

Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner

If you like anything rose-scented and you don’t already own this, get thee to thy nearest Lush! Our old yard used to be lined with rose bushes, and this reminds me of the smell that would carry over the breeze to our front porch. It also smells a bit creamy, which I like because too much rose can be overpowering, in my opinion.

Add the fact that this body conditioner leaves my skin feeling like I’ve just put lotion on, and I’m 100% sold.

L’Occitane Cleansing and Softening Shower Oil with Almond Oil

This one is perfect if you like a lighter scent because it’s not heavily fragranced. There’s enough almond there to be identifiable, but it doesn’t go overboard. This actually foams up like a body wash, but it leaves my skin feeling super-moisturized post-shower.

Juniper Ridge Sierra Granite Trail Soap

This one is newer to my collection. It has a very fresh, green scent this is quite strong, and the first whiff straight from the bottle is a bit sharp, but once I started using it in a hot shower, it reminded me of camping in the mountains with my family as a kid. I think they capture being in the mountains so well because they directly source ingredients from nature itself.

I love that even though I live in flat Kansas, I can have a little throwback moment to being in the mountains when I was younger.

Farmhouse Fresh Whoopie Cream Body Wash

Farmhouse Fresh really gets me. I LOVE anything that smells like dessert, and they consistently crank out some of the best dessert-scented body products I’ve ever tried. This body wash smells straight up like cake frosting, which I find delightful.
