Victoria Bond

Victoria has lived many professional lives, (stock and fit model, stand-up comic, substitute teacher at a school for the blind), and lucky for her a few of her other jobs have coincided. Published on HuffPo covering sexuality and on Ebony.com writing about race and culture, Victoria is co-author of the award winning novel for children Zora and Me. In 2011, Zora and Me won the American Library Association's Coretta Scott King/John Steptoe Award for New Talent and was also nominated for an Edgar, The Mystery Writers of America Award. Currently a Lecturer in English at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Victoria blogs at waytogobitch.com where she ponders her trip through womanhood in the 21st century.  She tweets @waytogobitch.
