I'm from the Green Mountain State of Vermont (I love it here!). Iíve been writing and editing in games journalism since 2005. I've worked for Computer Games Magazine, Massive/MMO Games, PC Gamer, escapistmagazine.com, and Kombo.com. I've been to many E3s, a couple of PAXs, and I've met and interviewed my heroes in the games industry. My favorite genre is strategy/roguelikes, and I'm also a fan of indie games, but I'll play any game if it's good.
I'm also into hair, nails, skincare, and cosmetics (especially Asian beauty products). I think the overlap of people who are into both beauty and games is low right now, but it doesn't have to be. I started a blog and made it my mission to write about both, and I do so without apology.
I'm a disabled person, which is not a defining part of who I am, but it does give me a perspective that some people find interesting. I have a severe case of Neuroborreliosis (Lyme Disease that has become neurological). I'm a part-time wheelchair user, walker user, cane user, and regular legs user. I'm not neurotypical. I take meds. I do regular stuff. I am a person first. I'd love to connect with other people with disabilities, or those in the games and beauty communities.
What I Do, Job-wise: I'm a writer, storyteller, reviewer, and knower of things. Being disabled is an annoyingly limiting factor in what can do but I try not to let it stop me.
What I Do, Fun-wise: I play boardgames and roguelikes. I try out new skincare, makeup, and beauty products. I have mind-bending conversations with people. I play all the videogames. I cuddle all the kittens.
My Motto: "I don't have a dirty mind I have a sexy imagination"
My Anti-Motto: "He treats objects like women, man!"--The Dude
The First Movie Star I Ever Had A Crush On: Molly Ringwald
My "celebs to make out with" list: Christian Bale, Milla Jovovitch, Viggo Mortensen, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Wilde, Scarlett Johansson, Nathan Fillion, all the K-drama boyfriends.
