Sara Faith Alterman

Sara Faith Alterman is a writer, producer, and proud Boston native who penned her first novel at age 8. It was about a rat that takes karate lessons and it earned rave reviews from her parents, plus an “Exceeds Expectations” from her teacher at Waldorf school.

Since then SFA has written a few other books and tons of articles about the weird stuff she does with her life. She lives in San Francisco and feeds her obsession with teen angst by co-producing a chapter of Mortified. SFA has run five half-marathons, lived in four U.S. states, and rescued one homeless dog from China.
