I was born and raised in Trinidad, and now I live in downtown Chicago with my husband Steve and our ratchet-for-no-reason tabby cat Max. In 2006, I created a beauty and natural hair blog, Afrobella.com, as an escape from my job. Now it's what I do full time. I work from home, I'm a pedestrian who loves exploring Chicago and traveling in general, and I spend my days playing with beauty products and writing about makeup and hair.
