Nicolette Mason is a 20-something Los Angeles native living and working in New York City. As a freelance writer, editor, designer and strategist, her Brooklyn-based life offers her many exciting experiences - most of which are documented through her blog. As an exploration of her love for all things design, Nicolette launched her blog in 2009. The blog soon blossomed into the diary of her adventures in international travel, personal style, arts, cuisine and her burgeoning career in writing. Nicolette prides herself on creating an environment filled with beauty: while her blog provides readers with optimal eye-candy, from her cherished glittery heels to French macarons, it's also an insightful chronicling of visual culture.
Currently, Nicolette is a contributing fashion editor and columnist at Marie Claire, branding strategy consultant (for inquiries, please fill in a contact form), and designer, currently working on a capsule collection for ModCloth launching in Fall 2014.
Nicolette has contributed to many publications, both online and in print, including Vogue Italia,Refinery29, Brooklyn Magazine, The L Magazine, Stylecaster, Glamour Magazine Italy, and more. She also hosted the Big Girl in a Skinny World series on HelloStyle, a partnership between Hearst Publications and YouTube. She has also worked with and/or consulted on projects with many of the world's top fashion and lifestyle companies, including Chanel, Christian Dior, Josie Natori, Unilever, eBay, Arcadia Group, Gwynnie Bee, Mynt 1792, ASOS, Modcloth, and more.
