I am an avid tinkerer. There is nothing that I've put my hands on that I haven't wanted to take apart. I do this on "The Chew," thinking about all sorts of different food and recipes around the country as a food correspondent.  I am also an interior designer, by trade, but a DIYer at heart. Growing up when I would go shopping with my mom and I fell in love with some soon-to-be-dated piece of clothing, my mom would say "Ay, Eso Se Hace," which means, "You can make that", in Spanish.  That has become my mantra.  I work on The Chew on ABC, where I have been able to make the world's largest pizza and have bravely ventured into the largest Jack O'Lantern attraction in the country. I have also been a contributor to the Rachael Ray Show and Today on NBC. I currently write for ehowfood.com, rachaelray.com and Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine.  Being Latina informs everything I do.

Age: A Lady never tells, let’s just say I remember Sesame Street pre-Elmo

What I Do, Job-wise: I am a contributor to The Chew on ABC, it’s a new Daytime show about Food, Life and Fun. Basically I am the Al Roker of the show, except that I don't give the weather. I travel around the country covering food oddities and trends and try a bunch of food I might not otherwise try. I also contribute to ehowfood.com, rachaelray.com and Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine. In Rachael’s world I am a “design buddy”

What I Do, Fun-wise: I make things, then I show other people how to make them. I LOVE thinking up hair brained inventions and coming up with the next “Get Rich Quick” scheme.

My Motto:  “Wrong and Strong” One of my professors and a performance artist Pope L. taught that to me. It’s better to do things 100% and still mess up than do things half way.

My Anti-Motto: "I can't…"

The First Movie Star I Ever Had A Crush On: Ralph Macchio in the Karate Kid and then again on Dancing with The Stars.

My “celebs to make out with” list: Ooh, Johnny Depp, I once posted an ad on Craigslist trying to find a look alike. I think my perfect man would have the humor of Paul Reubens, the "I could be Asian" of Keanu Reeves, that Latinoness of Javier Bardem or the Late/Great Raul Julia and the sex appeal of Lenny Kravitz, circa 1999.

The Most Played Song On My iTunes: "Strictly Game” by Harlem Shakes, so sad they broke up.

Last Book I Read without Skimming Any Parts: I always skim, so that's tough, but I would have to say Bitch is the New Black, by Helena Andrews

My Most Worn Item of Clothing: My oversized black blazer with a leather collar detail. It classes it up.

Beauty Products That I Hoard:  I LOVE anything by Jurlique. Their moisturizer for dry faces is ridic, leaves you with that j.lo glow. I love Kiehls' blue product line for breakout prone skin; I love to feel the burn. Am Lactin or Lac Hydrin is my body moisturizer of choice. You used to need a prescription for it. Now you can get it at any drugstore and it's got alpha hydroxy acids in it, so it makes your skin like a baby's behind.  I also LOVE Dr. Bronners Lavender soap!

I smell Like: I love woody, musky scents. My go-to is Woody Sandalwood from the Body Shop. Every time I go I buy 2-3 bottles of it.

I Have Faked An Orgasm (Yes/No): Once or twice and only when I am really tired.
