Erickka Sy Savané
Erickka Sy Savané narrowly escaped Ohio to become a fashion model in New York City, just out of high school. Somewhere in there she became a MTV Europe VJ and discovered her passion for writing. Her work has appeared in Trace, Giant, Essence and Uptown magazine (where she did a stint as editor-at-large), as well as, Metro New York and amNewYork newspaper. What she loves the super most is writing her Bitches Brew: Random Shit blog, which will be launching soon, and spending time with her husband, actor Souléymane Sy Savané, and two little girls in Los Angeles.
