I remember exactly how I felt. It’s National Singles Week — not that I need a holiday to reflect — but it’s just as good a time as any to look back on some of the wisdom I took with me from those eight years I spent with myself, which in the end, I am grateful for.

My take is that it’s limiting to have a strict “no dating in the workplace” policy because, well, what if? It’s better, instead, to look at the pros and cons of dating a co-worker so you can be prepared if you decided to go there.
