After leaving university in Dublin, Alisande started her career as a film writer for Real Detroit Weekly before moving to New York to intern at Bust magazine, and work as an assistant stylist for magazines such as Zinc, Entertainment Weekly and People. She then moved to London and freelanced at Diva, Esquire, Hot Press, This Morning and theInternational Life website, before high- tailing back to the Emerald Isle. Last year she wrote a book about Kate Middleton that was, like all the best (worst) bands, big in Japan.
